  Director of Utilization Review

  Audrey Petty has 25 years of experience working within the mental health field with an emphasis in behavioral therapy, diagnostic assessments and evaluation, as well as crisis management and individual counseling. She has 20 years of experience teaching full-time within the Community College and University Academic environments. She is currently a Lecturer at Sam Houston State University and an Adjunct Professor at Blinn College, both within the Departments of Psychology. In addition to this experience, she has 15 years of experience working within administrative leadership roles at Acute Care Psychiatric facilities, Residential facilities and Community Outpatient Clinics. She has served as Director of Utilization Review, Director of Admissions and Clinical Director as well as consultant for credentialing and clinical integrity. As a director and manager her focus has been to ensure the occupational wellbeing and professional development of the staff under her leadership. As a clinician her therapeutic approach is to provide compassionate, client-centered, and culturally sensitive care to foster a supportive environment conducive to healing and growth.
